insignificance
people like to think that theyre important. but i think our race needs to have everything put into perspective for them. and im going to try and do that.
the earth has been around for about 4.6 billion years. man has been around for about 6 million years. and your average life expectancy is 77 years. do you feel significant now? our whole species has been walking around for .001% of the earths life. and you will only walk this world for .00001% of the time our race has spent here. so you will be walkin around, feeling important for .0000001% of the time our earth has been floating around in the never ending universe. do you feel small? you should. because you are.
i didnt write this to make you feel like your life isnt worth anything. because its worth something to you, so you should live it. but dont sit on your high horse feeling all powerful. because you are a speck of dust in the beautifully infinite universe.
