why do people pretend they understand you?
nobody knows what its like to be anybody else. try as you might.
so listen. just listen, becasue i dont want to tell you something so you can say “oh yes, i know exactly how you feel” becasue the truth is, you just dont. YOU dont know exactly how I feel, ever. and sometimes what you need is just to be heard.
that is the cure for almost anything.
and thats why a good friend is hard to find. someone who does almost know what you feel. someone who can almost step into your shoes. someone you can always talk to, and know theyll listen. and know they wont judge you.
and that. that is love. ive just decided
